We have set a date for the wedding: Tuesday 26th October 2010, in Manjungan, Klaten, Central Java, Indonesia. There will be a daytime reception, with music and food, and a wayang kulit performance that night.
I hope family and friends from outside Indonesia will be able to come. Over the next few weeks I'll begin to fill this blog with useful information about coming here, starting with tips on finding cheap plane tickets.

I've set up this blog to provide information about our wedding, primarily for family and friends outside Indonesia. If you're thinking of travelling to Indonesia for the wedding check back here regularly for information about what to expect at the ceremony and reception, what to bring/wear, how to get here and travel around the area, where to stay, what to see and do in and around Solo (the city where I live), ideas of other places to visit in Indonesia, and some language and etiquette tips.
As yet the date has not been set, though we are considering dates in October and November and hope to make a decision in the near future.
